Our new C# study group starts tonight!

Our new C# group starts tonight at. 6PM for the beginners group and the Special Topics talk at 7:15. This will be a weekly meeting -- topics will be updated on the calendar.
 
 
The format is two-part:
 
6:00 - 7:00 PM  Beginning C# study group. We’ll work  through “Learning C# 3.0” by Jesse Liberty and  Brian MacDonald (http://www.amazon.com/Learning-C-3-0-Jesse-Liberty/dp/0596521065/) as a group. We’ll start with Chapter One this week. This is a peer group rather than a lecture, so come prepared to ask questions.
 
7:15 PM –8:30 PM Special Topics. These will be talks about specific C# topics such as Silverlight, ASP.NET MVC, and Powershell. These will be targeted towards experienced C# programmers, but should still be interesting to the beginners. This week will be an overview of Visual Studio including build setup, debugging, and unit testing. If you have any specific questions about Visual Studio you’d like answered during the first meeting, please send them out in the next couple of days.
